Jen’s Academy now offers workout classes!
Classes will be $5 a person which must be paid with cash or check before the class. There are no membership requirements or extra fees. Several different classes will be offered and their descriptions are below.
Workout Class Descriptions
The idea is to increase your aerobic fitness level while burning fat. Max interval training has you work as hard as you can for 3-minute intervals, with 30-second periods of rest in between. According to the Insanity web site, exercising at this extreme intensity level will help you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour.
Fat Attack Cardio
Rev up your metabolism while increasing strength, improving endurance, and agility in this class through a blend of cardio, free weights, and resistant exercises. This effective fat-burning and body shaping workout continuously challenges muscles to keep you motivated and moving! (Modifications are always given)
Butts & Guts
A butt kicking, gut-wrenching class aimed at improving your lower body and core. (Class is suitable for all levels)
In each routine, Shaun breaks down challenging moves step-by-step and builds them into a full dance sequence in just 35-40 minutes. So, while you are mastering the dance moves, you’ll also be burning fat and calories
This workout class combines country music and country line dancing to help burn calories!
This class incorporates challenging active postures followed by passive restorative postures. The focus is on meditation through movement and imagery; a practice that links awareness to breathing, alignment, and inner wisdom.
